Surprisingly well made.Zero issues crimping or cutting. The square "flip chip" for switching from cut to crimp is very tight in the bore, so it takes some effort or a pair of pliers to turn. The handles are definitely too wide for one handed crimping, so be prepared to have both hands free for use with the tool. The provided clamps were adequate. The crimp area is not perfectly squared or recessed like an Oetiker or Shark Bite clamps are, so you have to somewhat push forward when beginning your crimp to keep the crimpers from sliding off the clamp until they have some bite. They're sturdy and grip just fine once they've been crimped, though, and have the appropriate ASTM markings on them. The provided cutters worked great - cut square through some stiff PEX tubing like butter.
Worked great seems to be a good quality product.
Works great, just what I needed. Saved me from calling a plumber.
Worked as advertised. The cutter was very sharp and allowed for even cuts, even when I had to lay down behind the toilet in the RV.The crimper worked great. If you haven't used the tool before, recommend doing some practice cuts and crimping before you have to do an actual repair. The price of the PEX pipe and clamps are pretty cheap, so do some test cuts and crimps are useful.
I have used it just two times and it worked well. Two leak-less PEX connections!I would have given it five stars all around but I will need to use it more. Seems like a good value over what I would have gotten from Home Depot.Just the tool without any fittings or the tube cutter was $65!
