Slighttly different than advertised, so minus 1 star.

Product is the best "helping hands" product I've ever used. But be advised, there are items listed in the details that are not what you'll receive. For instance, it stated "six" board pillars , but I only received (4) four of them. It stated 2 long, and 3 short flex arms with alligator clips...but I received (4) four of the long ones but NO short ones. I got an extra alligator clip and screw as if I was supposed to get another arm. Like I said, just minor things, but this one was a bit pricey, so they really should get it right. I'd especially have liked a couple of the shorter arms.

Perfect size and price for the hobbyist

I dont do a ton of soldering and circuit boards. And Ive had a bigger version of this sitting in my wishlist for years because it was hard to justify over $50 for something Id use so rarely, last year I pulled the trigger and bought it and wish I didnt. Because I found this thing, for a fair price and even better a good size. My workbench is small and finding a place to store a big 4 arm thing is difficult. This thing has just enough weight, 2 magnetic arms (nice to know I can add more if I need). and is the perfect size to live on my desk, without taking it over. Its a simple product but I cant find anything wrong with it. Totally worth the money if youre someone who just occasionally fixes wires or solders up a few points every once in a while.

Tuned perfectly, pleasant to use

I had another different brand of helping arms before buying a Kotto one. Kotto is better The arms of these are super easy to adjust, stays in place and dont spring back. Magnet is strong, stay in place while adjusting the arms. These 2 features fixed all the issues I had with the other brand one. Perfect 5 stars, exactly what I expect
